Grow Your Business on a Budget

Small business owners often question me about ways to market their services for little to no cost. In these economic times, everyone is looking for ways to make their advertising dollar go farther. We understand, so are we!

So I’ve decided to share my top three tips to grow your business on a budget.

  • Write a letter to the editor. Write interesting and newsworthy letters to editors of local newspapers and business publications. Do not forget to include your contact information and website address. This generates free publicity for your business and positions you as a knowledgeable expert in your field.
  • Create partnerships. Find business associates whose business compliments yours and team up. Increase your clientele by joining forces with someone who has also established a strong client base while offering your existing clients expanded services. Who could you partner with?
  • Newsletters. Use newsletters to showcase your services and staff. Keep costs down by sending an e-mail newsletter to existing clients and visitors who subscribe to your website.
