A Kansas farm girl, Laurie has a passion for all things food and farming. She brings almost 30 years of experience in promoting a healthy and viable farm industry to TSN Communications. From product research to writing grants, creating exhibits to running events, Laurie seeks innovative solutions and timely responses in managing projects.

In 1988, Laurie established Owl Creek Consulting, offering services in graphic design, event planning, research, writing and communications. Prior to this venture, she was the director of the Maryland Agriculture Commission from 1989 – 1998 and served as a liaison to public agencies and state agriculture organizations.

Laurie attended Colby Community College and Kansas State University. After earning a business degree, she studied international business at Richmond College in London as a Rotary Scholar. Living on Maryland’s Eastern Shore with her husband Gary and three daughters, Laurie is an avid Ravens fan and enjoys biking, skiing, kayaking and exploring the country.
