Our Central Texas roots run deep. Spenco has called Waco home since 1971. In 2016, executives from Spenco Medical Corporation purchased the footwear segment of the company to provide trend-relevant, fashionable footwear that helps consumers maintain foot comfort and health. The new owners chose the city to launch their new endeavor, the Waco Shoe Company. The name carries its two greatest features — its location and its passion.
